Supanova Melbourne Tour Announcement

We’re back with our first tour of 2022! Let’s shake off those covid blues and deep dive into our Supanova Melbourne experiences.

Taking place over the weekend Friday 4th March to Sunday 6th March, we have two epic tours to offer – the first of which is over 1 night, and the second spanning across 2 nights.

Let’s look at accommodation first.

Guests on both tours will be staying at the Quest Flemington Central in One Bedroom Apartments. Quest is the closest hotel to Supanova and is just a 10 minute walk to the gates. It’s also a really nice place to stay! From their website:

“There’s space to move, with a separate bedroom featuring a comfortable king bed and wardrobe. The relaxed living area contains a sofa, LCD TV with Netflix and work desk, whilst the fully equipped kitchen provides a cooktop, oven and full-size fridge, and dining table. The bathroom offers laundry facilities, amenities and hair dryer. Guests can access the rooftop swimming pool.”

Yes, a rooftop swimming pool! Diving into cool water after a hot day at the con is a mood that we’re vibing with.

Next, let’s look at the activities you’ll be doing with your tour group.

For the 2 nighters, we’ll kick off with a VR session at Zero Latency. ZL is one of the world’s best VR experiences and we’ll be teaming up to take on this challenge together. This adventure goes for about 45 minutes and is an epic way to start the weekend. Then, it’s off to Pattysmith’s for some handcrafted burgers – some of Melbourne’s finest! And vego’s we have you covered. Pattysmith’s plant patty option is considered one of the best around.

So that’s Friday night. On Saturday night, the 1 nighters will join forces with the 2 nighters for one big epic excursion into the city. First, we’ll stop in at Fortress Melbourne. We have dinner booked with the good folk there in the Tavern. Think fantasy themed pub food. Really good pub food. We’ll also do a tour of the venue and partake in the many fine activities they have on offer there.

Once we’ve had our fill, the super group heads over to GGEZ – one of the coolest gamer bars on the planet. We’ll sample their fine cocktails and signature bubble cups, while making sure we get some Insta worthy photos under their famous neon signs.

That’s our nights taken care off. What do we do on Saturday and Sunday…..?

First of all, make sure you start off with the included breakfast at the hotel.

But then…

Supanova of course! This is the crown jewel of the experience and you’ll have two full days to explore everything Supanova has offer. Take your time, soak everything in, and don’t forget you have a hotel room minutes away if you need a rest or to drop some swag off to.
